Description

Learn to surf with 51±¾É« and the EZride Surf School! This adventure will take us to Pepper Park Beach in Fort Pierce, FL where experienced instructors from the EZride Surf School will teach you how to surf! We have a 2.5 hour window, which should be enough time for everyone in attendance to learn the basics and spend some time in the water. No experience is necessary and all surfing equipment will be provided.

Location

Departure Time and Location

Please arrive ready to go by 7:45 am. We will depart as soon as possible, but no later than 8:00 am. If you have not checked in by 8:00 am, your spot may be given to another student.

Departure Location: Circle Drive (in front of the ROTC building)

Drive Time: 2 Hours, 20 Minutes Each Way

Transportation: 51±¾É«, 15 passenger bus

Return Time and Location

Return Location: Circle Drive (in front of the ROTC building)

Return Time: Approximately 5:00 PM

Weather Considerations

Due to the nature of surfing, this trip will be postponed if conditions are not favorable and conducive to beginners learning to surf. If this is the case, you should be notified at least three days in advance.

What to Bring/ Recommended Packing List

Dress as if you were going to the beach for the day. You will need to bring a swimsuit and beach towel. Additionally, it is highly recommended that you bring water, snacks, sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat), and a change of clothes for the return trip.

Vendor Liability Waiver

You will need to complete a waiver for the EZride Surf School. This can be done prior to our arrival through their website:

Meals

Lunch will be provided via Publix Catering. You will have a selection of subs or salad. Any special dietary needs should be noted on your pre-trip information sheet.
